LOL no from Leafs. Vatanen is upgrade over Ceci but Kapanen is better than Wood.

You're looking at it wrong. It is Vatanen for the 2nds and Kapanen and Wood for Ceci.

That is a hell of an overpayment for #3 Dman.

Then drop out the 2021 2nd. But I don't feel it is an over payment for someone who does a great job at shutting down opponents 1st lines night in and night out.

Kapanen for Vatanen straight up is the highest offer I would do for Vatanen.

That's fair, but I think when the TDL hits, and Leaf fans realize that you have Boston to go through in the playoffs, I think you'll part with the pair of 2nds to get that extra offensive push and defensive security from the blueline.

Defenseman who has one good defensive season doesnt scream desperation for Leafs imo.
