mtl says no. idek why fans are freaking out lmao. this is a retool year. trading price and weber won't magically help the team neither long run, nor short term. unless price asks for a trade, i highly doubt they trade him. and for those fans saying oh you're wasting his career, well the rangers are keeping a 37 year old lundqvist during their rebuild.

I feel like he deserves better, he could be a hall of fame if he wins a cup and I wouldn't want to see us hold him back. As for Weber, Nashville will be in a very difficult spot if he says he's done after next year. They would offer a trade for him anyways. MTL Could take advantage of that .
