San Jose declines. No need for a LHD defenseman and Rodriguez is a big no.

I agree, Labanc is their only right handed top 6 player (or maybe with top 6 potential still). Value is near i guess, but not what SJS needs.

What kind of prospects or players would SJS be looking for then? Not familiar with their prospects

For the Banker we need a 2nd round pick and a B+ prospect. That’s not asking much considering his attributes and potential. He is already worthy of most teams top six.

Right wings. Not a blue chip but one that is close to ready with top six potential. San Jose isn’t desperate to trade him, they can easily sign him in the offseason for a really good contract.

So lets say then we still give you E-Rod, our 2nd round pick this year and would Marcus Davidsson be a good enough prospect?

ERod is a no. Davidsson isn’t having a great year and his potential is pretty low imo.

I don’t see much SJ would want on Buffalo. A 1st alone would probably get it done.

I would think our 1st would be too high this year to trade straight up for him. Maybe a lottery or top 10 protected 1st next year for Labanc and like a 3rd?

Erod is just in there so we don't have a roster jam and for salary matching. You guys can let him go after this year but I think he could be a decent 4th liner

I think SJ would be interested in BUF's younger D/prospects. Outside of Merkley, their D pipeline is really bare.

Labanc is at best worth a late 1st (might be able to get it from a contending team at the deadline since he's an RFA?) But I think a high 2nd + B prospect is a fair value for him

No interest in this. Your first would be good though. You can top ten protect it if you want, but we would need the condition to be an extra pick next year then.

Depends on the prospect. SJ has no need for dmen, we would need a right handed forward prospect with offensive ability

Hard pass, the AHL team is full and he’s pretty injury prone isn’t he?

I think this shoulder injury is his first big injury.. we just rushed him and mismanaged his development (same with Mittelstadt) so he's a high risk/high reward type of prospect. He was starting to play a little better in Rochester
