Description
I wanted Couturier to be on here, but I just couldn't fit him.

The goalies were tricky. I considered including Kuemper and/or Holtby on the team but decided not to.

it baffles me how you are arguing this, so youre telling me, youre hired as a gm tommorow, you have the option of gallagher or marner, you are taking gallagher?

Yes, that's exactly what i'm saying.

Gallgher drives play far better and is superior defensively.

The only reason Marner has elevated point totals is because he exclusively plays with Matthews and Tavares. Gallagher doesn't have that same luxury and produces better results.

RUST has played with crosby and malkin his whole career, you were just talking about him and then you come say hes better than marner. lmao, hes way better than both those guys and its not even sloe

Yeah no doubt Nylander has the higher value because of his contract. He’ll be worth more on the trade market. But Marner is the better player for sure.

As someone who’s played the game for a number of years, I think analytics are important because it you the quantity a player contributes in the offensive zone and defensive zone but they don’t determine the entire qualities of a player. It doesn’t mean anything if a player is elite at generating possession but it doesn’t lead to goals. Nerds who only look at analytics would believe that William Nylander is better than Evgeni Malkin.

Yeah, i know, no LHD but i'm just trying to pick the 12 best forwards, 6 best d-men, and 2 best goalies, ignoring forward positions, L/R shot, etc. (Except for when creating lines. When i create lines i consider shot, forward positions, etc.)
