Max domi

Created by: Sebybbqpower
Team: 2019-20 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 17, 2020
Published: Jan. 17, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Wild are looking for a top centerman and the habs could use help on the left side. Since domi is younger and under term for at least 3 more year before getting to free agent market. Habs will want a bigger return than only brodin who is effective defensively but isn’t a offensive minded gifted player.

I'd say no because Boldy could be better than Domi and we aren't winning now.

I'd say no from the Habs side.
Habs were ecstatic you passed on Caufield for us.
Brodin is not good enough or signed long enough.

Not even sure I'd 1 for 1 with Dumba, but that's close.

That always the gamble you have to take with prospect. You stick with him and expect big thing or trade him flr a established players who have real success. I think that this would be what bergevin will ask for domi. Something similar then Max Pacioretty deal. But i doubt that guerin Will go that way. The wild would probably be better by goiing in a rebuilt since they have one of the oldest forward group.

That why Minnesota hd matthew boldy to balance thing out. With suzuki, danault and kotkaniemi at center for the next few year montreal could use a defenseman like brodin and a left winger who had chemistry with caufield.

Montreal have no interest in another right handed defenseman.

Don't think I have to comment because it's been said 4 times already, Brodin simply isn't good enough to be traded for Domi, also Boldy has been horse**** this year in the NCAA.

That why montreal get matthews boldy to balance thing out. Boldy is olaying for a stacked boston college team. He doesn’t play a lot on special team and is use as a third line role this years. That doesn’t mesn he is bad the kid have a very good potentiel.

I don't see us paying over the top for him when he's clearly not having a good year.

With us trading away Shaw, it leaves us lacking Grit. I think the only ones who bring it are Gallagher and Domi now. Don't see us trading Domi if we have to trade a winger.

Domi is most often invisible in the offensive zone in puck pursuit and lack back checking. Droping the glove once at a time isnt playing with grit. You underrate a lot jonas brodin or you overate Domi in both case the value proposed here is already a excellent deal for domi. Inwould rather keep tatar on long term extension then domi.

That's crazy. Tatar is 29 years old and will likely be on the decline in the next few years. With the way he is playing, he's going to want a long term high AAV deal on his next contract. Domi proved to us what he could do last year. Now that's he having an average season, it's time to lock him up long term on a medium AAV deal. 8 years at 6.5 or something along those lines.

If mtl do that we will visit the lottery draft more often then the playoff. Domi is not the solution for the habs. This year he has been a completely different player. The one he was in arizona, way too often you don’t see him on ice he start to look like Galchenyuk.

If you ever want to win a cup, you have to get played on good contracts. I potential 1st line forward for 6.5 Million is one of those guys who will get you there. Regardless of his "bad" season, he's still on pace for 55 points. He's 24 and is still going to get better.

And won’t sign at 6,5 millions long term. And if you want to go to the stanley cup you must get ride of max domi.

You think signing Tatar to 8+ at a long term deal will get us the Cup?

Sign a 30 year old Tatar** and yes i would prefer that option. A 30millions /5 years deal. No clause include. Will be 6 straight 20 goal season this year there not a tons of players in that league that can say either.
