Columbus matches that easily. You’d have to go north of 4 1st round picks for us to consider not matching.

I’m dead there’s no way Columbus is letting go of him

If he gets an offersheet of 11+ for 5 seasons I’d bet Columbus considers taking the 4 1st round picks as they’d be sure to have at least 1 of not more top 5 picks coming from it and another 1st in each draft. Plus they’d have more cap room to keep Jones and Werenski long term.

Columbus needs to sign Korpisalo, Josh Anderson, Sonny Milano, and PLD all with $17M in Cap Space.

They'll obviously need to move pieces, but my point stands. Its plausible.

That’s projected cap space... you’d have to figure that there will be some kind of cap increase for next season. Murray, Savard, and Anderson could all be moved fairly easily and we have the players in place to replace them. Sorry but my comments still stand, it would cost you 4 1st round picks to get PLD out of Columbus. This crushing your chance of resigning your own RFAs next year.

It's not. PLD is the top priority out of all of those guys.
