Description

Bowman and Q decide not to put in all the rookies and instead trade Seabrook for a small return. This team gives the hawks four good scoring lines and the ability to have a deep back end with Gus in the minors. Won't happen, just for fun.

Only reason the return is small is because of the term on Seabrook's contract.

It would hurt losing Seabrook, but if Yak and Caggiula pan out, that's a good trade.

Seabrook is not going to waive his NMC to go to the Oilers because he would likely lose it for the remainder of his contract. Teams rarely allow a traded player to keep it (see: Subban). This is why players do not waive NMC until the final year or two.
