Detroit passes. Fabbri has over double the points ZAR and Bjugstad combined and he's younger, so why is Detroit giving up 2nd as well?

ZAR is a top 5 defensive forward of the league. it would make absolutely no sense to trade him, especially with the contract he has.

I didn't make the proposal I was just saying why Detroit would pass on this offer.

Ok who are the 4 forwards in front of ZAR? or Do you have a link to this list?

Not sure about the list but here's some stats on his being good defensively:
''At 5v5, opposing teams are generating just 17.77 scoring chances and 1.51 expected goals per 60 minutes vs Aston-Reese. Of the 279 forwards with 400+ minutes of ice in that gamestate, none have fared better than ZAR in either category. He’s a beast.''

Haha I wasn’t expecting people to comment on this!! I figured Detroit wouldn’t want to bother with Fabbri’s RFA status and would rather have some 2 solid players. The second and third exchange was just to even balance? I wasn’t really sure of Fabbri’s value anymore. Thanks for the feedback!! What do you think of the other signings?

My thoughts:
Kahun gets 3 - 3.5 mil
Simon (plays with Crosby) gets 1.8 - 2.5 mil
Fabbri wants around 3 mil
