Half of these are definitely arguable

First line - With Kubalik’s scoring, Toews’s IQ, and debrincats playmaking, this would be an interesting line to me. Maybe not the best, but Toews is quite underrated and overlooked because of Kubalik. Debrincat is clearly having a down year so maybe this would help a little bit, to put a great rookie on his line and a high hockey IQ player

Second line - Dach and Kane seem to work well and Saad’s speed definitely can contribute. People are saying this line works, since I haven’t been able to watch a few games recently

Third line - more of a 200 ft game/defensive line. Strome’s defensive capabilities are often overlooked imo. Cags is really here for a slight more scoring touch. The main pieces are Strome and Kampf

Fourth line - Another defensive line with a touch of speed from nylander would seem pretty good imo.

I really like these lines. Only concern is Strome's production. He's good defensively, yes, but his offense is his primary asset. Putting him with two guys who are, at best, inconsistent offensively when he already has issues carrying a line puts a little doubt in my mind to that line's effectiveness. But I do like the defensive upside to the line, don't get me wrong

Yeah I know Strome could be better, but why not try to bring out his defensive game? He is a very good 200 foot player and if this line were to be real, he’d still be on PP. Personally I’m a huge fan of Strome and putting him on the 3rd line can make him stand out

I like them, tough to split up the Cat and Strome, though. Each have played their best when on the same line.

However, not a bad idea. I think Nylander would be better off playing with Strome and Caggiula. Even better, Shaw comes back.

I’ll be completely honest, this might be the negative side of strome getting healthy. I do love the ideas you have here, but still, Dach can’t be in front of strome on center depth. Cat-strome-Kane seems to be the most logical to me only because it helps both cat and strome produce. Kuba-toews-Saad is definitely most logical on the first line in this case. As the third and fourth lines, I liked your previous thread.

Good ideas here, but I dont really see it being possible for cat and strome to be apart. Even more, they are optimized when they are with Kane.
