Its horrible asset management. Carolina just lost their #1RD for the season so why would they trade their #2. Tampa is already in cap hell next year, why would they spend 2 1sts to make it much worse

From the Tampa side, you worry about the now and not about next year until the offseason.
I honestly forgot about Hamilton going down, and it makes sense that they wouldn't want to give away their top RHD

We have options. We have AHL players that are ready to come up for the expiring contracts, and Alex Killorn's NTC turns modified, making him easier to trade. It'll be tight, but we have options.
