Cool name, but Kovi gets the Habs a 4th right now. He is a rental, and was just picked up off of waivers.

It's the rumored price tag, and they will get it if they trade him. He has more than proved he is worth it. Too many Kovi haters on this site. He could get 30 goals and people would still hate and say he's not worth it.

Except Kovi's contract isn't a multi year multi million deal like Nash's was. Kovalchuk is a productive player on the Canadiens and would be on the Bruins. Maybe even more.

Correct.

They will only be trading 1 of their first 2 picks in 20, so it has to be the right move. Kovi not it. Not to mention Sweeney gets lynched for it.

Lol, he’s getting 1st line minutes in Monteal and PP, not getting that in Boston but his production going up there getting 3rd line minutes and 2nd PP? Sure. ?

Cap doesnt matter at the tdl. Nash was also a very productive player but he was old af and not worth the price BOS paid for him. Same case for kovy
