Johnsson doesn't have the chemistry with Matthews that people think. I think he holds Matthews back.

Kapanen is fast. That's it. There's plenty of guys in the AHL alone that can bring speed and more for cheaper.

Both are expendable. You can put Engvall in with Matthews if trading Johnsson. If trading Kappy you literally plug in anyone not named Timashov.

I like Subban. I just think he's on a dog pile team and he's hurt so that passion is fading. If Leafs make a move for him on a team like this and the medical staff that the Leafs have I think you'd see the Subban closer to his Norris year then this year.
