Description

Given the cap crunch and RFA situation, Gorton didn't do a bad job. Actually looks like a better rangers team than last year.

Considering Kreider is one of the only people on the team that speaks russian put him with buchnevich. Stepan and kreider have been proven to work well together. Try out zibanejad with nash and zucc, should work well.

If girardi can't hack it, sub in McIlrath

Only move left is to go for Vesey and hope he wants to play with hayes

Would love to get Vesey but I doubt he comes here. If there is one move left we better hope it is something revolving around the defense because they are clearly the problem on this team. Tanner Glass and Adam Clendening should be AHL bound and btw Kreider is not even close to fluent in Russian. #LetsGoRangers

Glass will be AHL bound which will give us a little more cap space. Other teams can guarantee Vesey in their top 6. Why would he come here to a very crowded bottom 6 with a slight chance of cracking our top 6? Also, Fast will end up on 3rd line because he loves him.

As bad as the defense was last year, the forwards outside of Nash sure didn't help them. Hopefully adding Zib, Grabner, Gerbe and others helps the defense overall. I still believe we need a puck mover tho, not sure what Shattenkirk would cost tho.
