While Dumba trades to TOR don't really make sense, I'd drop Bracco and the 2nd, change them to Liljegren, and change the 4th from MIN to a 3rd.

No? No way would Bill Guerin accepts those pieces for Matt Dumba. Not what he's looking for.

That is an easy no. Dumba isn't as good as his reputation says he is. Hell I wouldn't even do the trade OP proposed. Don't think Dumba has a future on the Leafs. Brodin on the other hand...

Your opinion of Dumba is known. You don't like the guy due to his offense first game that compromises his defensive game a bit.

If I were Wild I wouldn't sell him any lower than that. Even if his season have been sub-par.

And most likely some team would pay that price. Or at least something quite close to it.

Honestly, I don't mind Dmen who's game is mostly offence. I love Rielly, but Dumba is just a younger Barrie who is more physical and my favourite Leaf ever was Tomas Kaberle so I think that says everything you need to know about my opinion on shooting Dmen.

I don't think anyone would offer up a whole lot more than what OP has here (value wise anyway), although I do think he will go for more than I'd want my team to pay for him.

Just yesterday I heard some Leafs fan praising Barrie, not wanting to let him go after this season and rather re-sign him than Muzzin. If Dumba were an upgrade of him, should TOR be interested? Just curious here.

Kaberle was good, although he played his best game when I was a bit too young to understand anything about the game lol.

Barrie has been fine, but as I said - I prefer a Kaberle type. Whoever said they'd re-sign Barrie over Muzzin is an idiot though. Muzzin is our best Dman.
Oh I was too young to remember prime Kaberle, doesn't change the fact that he was my favourite Leaf ever (and probably my favourite NHLer ever).
Also, those who did see his prime basically say his game would translate extremely well to today's. He was extremely underrated.

I know this is taboo to say but...
I was cheering for Boston because of Kaberle in 2011...

Yeah I agree. They need Muzzin-like D more than they need Barrie-like one.

Oh and prepare getting f*cking stoned, buddy.

Hey, my favourite Leaf (and player) ever has his name on the cup. Not a ton of Leafs fans can say the same. Hell even other fanbases for that matter. So come at me lol

My three favorites, Selänne, Modano and Lehtinen (since I'm a Finnish Stars fan lol) have their names on the cup too (thank goodness).

Sadly I can't remember anything about the time Stars won the cup. That was 1999, and I was born 1998...
