Both of those players will cost quite a bit more than just a 1st especially Gallagher who would be hard to pry out of Montreal.

You can dislike the trade and not agree with doing it, but the value is accurate. Not much of a debate there...

Gallagher is turning 28 and will be 29 as a ufa. Thats not young anymore

Yeah never said they are more valuable. But thinking trading young cost controlled assets for UFA and Player with one good year then struggled this year. We could make a better deal and thank god you are not the GM.

If I was the GM they would have won the cup already
