I agree with your thoughts, because TOR needs at least one more player who can't play a 200 ft game.

Nylander doesn't play C, and if he did he wouldn't be moved for a LHD with no term

He's a good 2C on a contender. Useable 1C. He won't be traded for a pending UFA.

He can play centre but.. I would say he is best if you have someone else on the line that can take faceoffs. Have rotating strong side and you will have a good solid 1b 2a c
