you're gonna get crucified by your own delusional edm oilers fans, thinking that pulju is still worth a 1st, dont imagine ehat they would think if you would top a 3rd round for kovalchuk, who they think is worth a bag of pucks

Not a chance Ennis is worth a 2nd. most I'd give is a 4th for him.

Holland has pretty vocal about not giving up prospects or high picks for rentals, so don't think he'd want JP for Kovy. Not a good target for the Oilers either

They are going to need to rent at least one winger to play with McDavid. It should be on the left side. It's not going to be Krieder. If you look at what rentals go for it will be a third or a second for Ennis.

Ennis is ranked as the 69th left winger by Corsica. He's from Edmonton. He's a pretty low cap hit. Hopkins is ranked 24th. After Hopkins we drop to 111th for Ganger.

2nd round draft picks are not actually that valuable in terms of the number of NHL games that they produce.

Oilers need a finisher to play with McDavid. Worth the JP contract and third round pick to see what Kovi might do.

Suggest another rental winger for McDavid that will fit under the Cap... and can actually finish.

I actually do not mind Ennis, he’d actually be a Kunitz for Mcdavid. Maybe Marody or Rodrigue and a 3rd for him would be more suitable but I do not mind him at all. However, I’d stay away from Kovalchuk altogether, he’s pretty much the cheaper cap version of James Neal. Also I think they need to acquire an actual suitable 3rd line centre instead of Sheahan.

I'm just looking at twitter and Klefbom is out... squinting with tongue out for three weekssquinting with tongue out

I guess we need D... I dunno what to think now. It's impossible to fill that hole. They can recall Manning or Samarukov, but its just impossible to fill that gap.

Kovi is the mirror version of Neal, shooting right but liking to play the off-wing. Can finish, but doesn't play D. More of a finesse player than Neal I think . Neal has the net-front presence and is really good in the corners.

They’re gonna have to take a risk with Lagesson. I doubt they call up Manning after what he said but they should’ve went after Demelo.

I wouldn’t even do the 3rd for Kovy, he’s going to sign elsewhere. Pulju is for sure worth a first- but nobody will give up a flat first round pick for him obviously

Not interested in Kovalchuk, but Ennis could be a sneaky good pick-up, altough he should be available at a less dear cost.
