Description

This is what I think Poile should do at the deadline. Trade Bonino and Weber to Philly for Myers and a couple picks (don't know if this trade is fair to both sides, but I figured Philly could use a veteran center for their run). Waive/send down Austin Watson forever and ever, buyout Matt Irwin because he's awful, and call up the players who are actually good. If we make the playoffs, great. But if we don't, at least in this scenario we would have gained picks for this upcoming draft. Let me know what you think.

If we had more young and promising RHD, then the value is good. But Myers is the only one, so we kind of need him.

Just an FYI: the annual buy-out period ends in the summer.

The trade is a good idea except for the objection raised by @Couturier

@jwilliams2k12 - Good point. Didn't think about that. I'll blame it on the fact that I just really do not like him even sniffing the ice for us

Would taking out the 2nd round pick make it more even?

Yes, but it wouldn't be enough. You'll have to overpay a lot to make a team move a player they're not interested in moving.
