Description
Sorry I keep complaining hawks fans, I’ve just come to expect better out of this franchise. I’ve literally gone full Steve Dangle.

You’ve done it Stan, you’ve actually done it. You’ve turned hope by way of decent moves decent moves in an offseason into what they actually were: false hope.

Let me start by saying, Kane, toews, and seabrook (not Keith though, 5.5ish didn’t bother me then and still doesn’t), enjoy your money. Take solace in it. You’ve each earned it in way or another. Seabs, it’ll help pay for the 19 year old child who should be in Saskatoon. However, enjoy and take solace in the money because you don’t get anymore cups. Full stop, no questions asked. This team has made moves for the sake of allowing the three of you to make this absurd money (yes, Kane earns his). The three of you, and even Keith for this argument, don’t get the right or the choice to demand that we keep challenging and buying. You lost that when your cap hits hit the sky. So either leave in peace and let the team rebuild for real, or stay and become the mentor people think you guys are.

Now, back to the dick up in the executives box. Stan, let me make it abundantly clear that I’ve never been a fan of you. You inherited a core that was a clear winner and a coach who knew how to make them that way. All you had to do was put players around them that just tried. Just tried. 100% of the time. For a time, you managed that. 2013 was possibly the most complete team of the hard cap era. However, then you managed to start your trend of ****ty contracts. Contracts that lost us bolland, frolik, teuvo, panarin, leddy, and many others, all for the sake of keeping bickell, seabrook, and wanting back Saad, Shaw, and the rest of the “gang.”

No matter what any hawk fan who gives a rat’s ass about you thinks, you didn’t discover the panarins and kubaliks of the world. You are not the reason we got them for free. These were free acquisitions that speak to the scouts, the agents, and the coaches who developed him. Small aside.

You tanked this team 2 and a half years ago. Not Q, not Colliton (he doesn’t he’ll granted), not even McDonaugh. The ball stops with you. You gave Q a **** roster to work with? Fire him. You hire Colliton as a fall guy? Genius if it works, Colliton’s fault if he fails. No one is fooled anymore. Then you make moves that, on paper, make some sense. But wait. Maatta? Blocks shots, can’t skate. Maybe that’s why he was okay on a speed team. De Haan? 5 shoulder surgeries? He’ll be finnnnneeeee. Maybe that’s why he was cheap. Shaw? 3 picks? NO. Just NOOOOO. Nylander? I’m gonna be sick.........

Rocky, McDonaugh, do your damn jobs. Stop letting this guy keep this team in limbo. Mediocrity shouldn’t be our standard! God I really hope we get a good pick this year. Only this time don’t **** up the pick. Or maybe I’m wrong, maybe rocky and McD don’t care and bowman is GM till he croaks.

No way in hell I trade Strome or Dach...... That is just crazy. Those are moving backwards kind of moves. Everyone else can go from your list. I would try to trade Zack Smith also.

Then I would pick between Dach and strome. You can’t win with both them. Too similar and both rely on their wingers for an impact. Logic dictates it be trading strome then. Just keep in mind though, if we tank, and trading Dach gets us sorokin for 10 plus years and a chance at quinton byfield, Later Dach.
