Common sense. What I don’t understand is why there is so much hate for ceci. Another great game for him tonight. Great defence great outlet passes. Yeah his offence is non existent but I think what he does bring is exactly what the leafs need. Dependable, I hysical and kills penalties well.

I disagree. He was terrible tonight. He brings no value to this team and actively made certain situations worse (like shovelling an easy puck back into a fray with Freddie that nearly ended in a goal against). He just left guys alone who were jumping on top of Freddie all night and was incredibly slow on making decisions, which killed any opportunity. He needs to be shot into the sun.

Physical play broke the cycle, excellent pk and man that dive where he robbed Tampa of a straight up 2 on 0... I loved his game tonight... outside of the offensive zone anyway.

Why is ceci the only one taking blame for people jumping on Freddie?

They tried Muzzin-Barrie. It very did not work.

Ceci is one of if not THE worst defenceman in the NHL. Especially at what his cap is. If Leafs resign him and I really hope they don't he better not get more then a mill contract.
