Creates cap space, but just not sure this trade makes Calgary a better team.

Trade for the sake of trading. Eichel is going to be good but let's not pretend that Gaudreau is at this point any less valuable than Eichel. Both guys are absolute studs and won't be traded for each other. Its like Gretzky for Lemieux, what's the point other than to piss off the player and shake things up for no reason. That's bad karma/juju right there.

The value of this trade is way off... Eichel and Johnny are close to a wash but no way Bogosian is as good as TJ and they get our 1st while we get their 3rd... So 1 wash and 2 losses for Calgary!!!! Bad Trade!!!

The only part of this that makes any sense... Trading Johnny - Sorry... I really like this kid and he keeps telling the press (in Calgary) he wants to stay here BUT - was cornered by a NJ radio host into admitting he wouldn't mind (one day) playing closer to home.... I believe we will loose him one day and it would be best to trade him when we can get the most bang for our buck!
