I can see the Yak trade happen, but I feel like STL won't take that deal. They need RWers not LWers. They could move him to Rw but he'd be a 2nd liner and 6 mil for a 2nd liner is a lot. Maybe if half the salary is retained they take it but thats being optimistic. Armstrong is supposedly wanting a kings ransom and Nash doesnt have the highest trade value....

No way in the world does Doug Armstrong take an aging Rick Nash for Kevin Shattenkirk even with money retained. Armstrong will more or less want cheap controllable futures for Shattenkirk not an aging Nash.

Forget the salary or what position Nash plays. No way STL makes this deal. Why would they be the ones including the 2nd round draft pick? If anything it would be the other way around.

Shatty AND a second? No way. Nash doesn't have THAT much value. Shattenkirk has a ton of more value than Nash. Other teams would have way more to offer with a deal like that
