2 things-

1) Columbus has no need for a 12 LHD, for Anderson the second will do just fine but if you need to move a contract at least make it a center prospect or a depth player we don’t really care about.

2) Cozans would end up back in juniors next year if he doesn’t make the NHL, he’s only 19 so he’s ineligible to play in the AHL and I’m not sure it would be very good for him to play in the WHL another year.

Minor tweaks if that's the case with Cozens, I thought he was going to be eligible for the AHL this year but, just checked and saw I was wrong.

I think the 10 game tryout makes sense for Cozens to start the year. Depending on how Thompson looks coming back from injury and Cozens performance, at the end of 10 games would determine if he stays with the club or goes back to the WHL. If Thompson looks off, Johansson flips to 3rd line RW and Asplund take 4th line LW.

I know you’re giving up pretty much nothing for him,
but i want no part of Bjugstad
Especially not at 2C

I’ve liked Gaudette for a while
Think we’ve missed our chance to get him unfortunately
But if they like Risto, then maybe it’s still a possibility
Risto is just so polarizing a player
Some GMs would value him, some wouldn’t
Tough to say what VAN thinks
If they do like him...
then the trade should be more like Gaudette & a 2nd
