Salary Cap Mode: Basic

The strome and georgiev trades are with any team, and I think both those trades are reasonable and fair.

Smith trade: add an ok prospect with smith to get rid of his contract for a year, Ottawa has cap that’s why I chose them. Hopefully smith waived his NMC.

Doubt Tampa can be able to afford both sergachev and cirelli especially with same cap, so we give cirelli a good contract and lose a first second and third for him. Trading strome makes up for this somewhat losing the picks as we get a first and second back.

We have our first line who’s been very good for us the last two years. So no complaints there.

Second line we swapped strome for cirelli so a improvement defensively there and for a player who still has room to grow. I think panarin and cirelli can benefit from this. I decided to put kakko with them as this is a talented line and thought this could boost his confidence as well as benefit the other two adding size for cycling and With panarin puck carrying abilities, and cirellis defence it can take pressure off kakko and he can play more freely.

Third line is a line I really wanted. This line is all very young, fast and has size. Kravtsov at 6’3-6’4, Gauthier at 6’4, chytil at 6’2. This line has size, and can kill you with speed. Their game styles blend perfectly with one another as chytil likes to shoot and is very good at carrying the puck in the zone without losing it, Kravtsov is very good at passing and has great offensive instinct and Gauthier is a very fast power forward that can throw some bodies as well as contribute to the offence. These three will have a bright future ahead in my opinion.

Fourth line has a lot of grit with Lemieux and fast who’s a work horse both are good defensively and know their role offensively but can still pot some goals here and their. Howden is iffy he’s streaky and sometimes a liability on defence and doesn’t chip in offensively. Hope he can step it up this year as he is still young as this is my only concern.

Defence: our defence is a little weak but has potential as well some promising prospects. Fox is our most well rounded in my opinion and Lindgren is a good stay at home defencemen who doesn’t do much offensively but that’s why him and fox work so well together. Deangelo has really stepped up and is a star offensively but defensively. Trouba is also good offensively and eh defence wise but his biggest concern is he takes dumb penalties turns the puck over and is out of position at times. Staal is getting older and slow but does what he can and Hájek we haven’t seen to much of him.

Overall next year I think we can go to playoffs and win a round hopefully.
