Spurgeon Waives his NMC - Great 2 way Dman. Minne still has Dumba. They get a potential Centre in Willy. Retention is for age different and to make cap work.

Johnsson can be to anyone for a 2nd. If no takers a 3rd + 6th or 7th maybe?

Clifford resigned since Leafs have shown interest in him.

This is my last one of the day. If only Spurgeon didn't have a NMC.

Why are you trading Willy good value contract you’d be better off dealing marner.

Barabanov is more of a 3rd liner. Trading someone like Nylander is not an ideal move. I would try and move Kapanen before Nylander

Not saying marners a bad contract (a little over paid in my opinion but not bad) but Willy is a lot better of a contract and Mitch makes way more money that would open up way more cap space also more expendable for that reason

Ok, but really, and the graphs show it, he’s only really underperforming by about 1.5 million, but had an off year. You can’t really replace a talent like Marner, and thus he won’t and shouldn’t be traded unless the leafs are winning big.

More fantasy, that Leafs have to overpay for RHD. Would any other team give up so much for 30 year old whose contract ends when he is 38? No. Really how does this make the Leaf better. Geez, Barabonov maybe 2rd liner in the KHL and now deserving of important minutes in the NHL?
