He's had one good season.. He's ideally on your 4th line at this stage of his career.

At his cap hit we have others who are making less to play on the 4th line like gerbe and Robinson. We have no need for Wood. Sorry.

No sir. That is the common misconception among hockey fans who don't closely follow the Devils. Those of us that watch him game in and game out would be happy to see him traded. He's a liability out there.

I like your idea of roster construction here. A couple tweaks like offering the VAN 1st this year instead of ARI & I’d chase Demelo in free agency over Stone. Just my opinions

Chill folks.. My intention was to finally get rid of Wood because he still has big holes in his game and and I'm kinda done with him. Anderson seems like a very good target to replace him since he kinda plays a similar style.

I agree that Columbus isn't the best spot for Wood but that's not the topic of this ACGM.

I'd definitely offer the VAN 1st at first but I also expect a lot of biding when someone like Sergachev becomes available that's why I went with the ARI one.

DeMelo definitely is a more interesting player than Stone but he's also younger and more desired to ask for more term and if I was the Devils I'd not go that way just yet. My intention here was to find a strong veteran presence to pair with Smith and give them some favorable matchups (like Lovejoy and Butcher in 17/18).
