A fourth overall pick who just hasnt liked the NHL yet and needs a change of scenery for a 3rd line center that isnt going to develop much more in his current position / role?
You are right! Terrible trade for the Oilers!
Lets try Wallmark and a 4th for Puljujarvi

@Torontoleafs15 and Im gonna shut you down before you make another dumb comment.
Jesse is still 21 years old, had 4 points in 4 AHL games, and just led his Liiga team in points with 53 in 56 games (with those fantastic Finnish goalies) (its a low scoring league)
He has plenty of room to grow and is still worth a 2nd round pick, maybe a low 1st even to any team still looking for that kind of player, but lets be conservative and just say a 2nd. Wallmark is worth a 3rd right now (as a 24 year old 3rd line center), so yes, The oilers lose this deal in terms of value.

Huh? Maybe he doesn't wanna play in the NFL or something idk. I'm not even sure if Edmonton can trade Jesse. Why would florida want to move hallmark? He is productive and will be cheap. If I was florida would rather keep my cheap 3rd line centre for a possible non nhler winger.

Why are we doing this? I would much rather keep wallmark as Jesse may even ask for a big price because he probably wants to go to Finland. Plus our problem isn't forwards its our defense and goaltending. Wallmark should cost like 2mil. However I don't agree this is a good trade for Edmonton either. I just don't think either team should do it

I agree with this! and if this was the argument i would have said "HEY GOOD POINT", but it wasnt, the guy was talking about trade value.

"Maybe he doesn't wanna play in the NFL or something idk." lol what

Again, like i just told the panthers guy. If THAT was your arguement, you would be right!!!
But you said "a non nhler for a nhl 3rd line centre? wow". which means you were talking about the value, and you are wrong.

So ill give you the verdit: I am right about the value, and you me and the other guy are all right about the trade block needs
