Description

Flat Cap help keep Krug by worsening the market. We'll try term for a lower AAV
Chara takes a deal with a 1 mil base and an easily attainable bonus that will pay them handsomely. Halak does the same because they are both going to be on 35+ contracts.
This will affect the 2021-22 heavily because cap overages from bonuses carry over to the next, but the team will have way more flexibility with Krecji and Tuukka coming off the books. That is also the year the cap is expected to go up do to a new TV deal so it worth it to go all in for what is likely Chara's last year.

2019-20 Zee @ US$2M per year had 21min per nite and is #85 in min/per league-wide (that's squeezed between Kopitar and Makar and is out of 883 total players who skated last year (as per NHL.com))...

This is Krugs deal anyway so idk what you are saying the difference is, but that aside:

Debrusk and Griz deals are a little low
Halak deal is terrible, hes getting 4+ somewhere else that wants a starter for this year.

Good Moore deal, but probably not to the Kings.

Not bad, but definitely those things.

Again, this is your opinion, there is a market for Moore, and it ISNT THE KINGS as I said, but there are teams out there that will give up a 4th or 5th for a solid 2nd to 3rd pair guy.

Now had he said a 3rd+, I would be right here with you saying "god you are dumb", but for a 4th, just leave it be.

Heres the case: you know I think he is worth a 4th or 5th, SO: when i see someone saying "Moore for a 6th / 7th", I dont even comment because while my opinion is different, I know it at least makes sense. However, If someone says "Moore +3rd for a 4th", I will comment because they need to know Moore isnt a cap dump.
This is a case where you may not agree, but it isnt wrong. Please leave the guy be.

@braisman good Moore trade, but you could even do it for a 5th rather than a 4th to make it a little more normal

Last point, @Bf3351 , I think brunis getting Dadonov is a bad idea, but its my opinion and I am not even mentioning that in my personal comment later.
