Haula is fantastic actually! The issue is if he can stay healthy. Fast, above average advanced stats, and can play all situations. It's a smart signing.

But, still need a 3rd line centre. And since I do not see Montour here at all, you have the bait to land one.... unless your thinking Cozens?

Hes got extremely average stats for a 3rd liner. Expecting him to do much more then that isnt ideal Lazar as a 3c isnt good either. Larsson is far better then both, hes very underrated. Hes produced like a 2nd liner for the past season or two. Ideally hes a 3c or 4c but he'd be a very good one.

I dont think montour is very good at all. Hes good in transition but that's about it. Realistically hes a 3rd pairing defenseman. He has rough underlying numbers. It's best for buffalo to trade him at this point. Hes going to get a lot of money and you dont want to pay a guy very much if hes only going to be an average 3rd pair defenseman at best. With Joki and Miller already on the RS they have a hole. Risto and montour should be moved.

Larsson is not better than either one of them.

This is spot on. Could see signing Montour for 1 year and trading him at the deadline.

Lmao that couldn't be further from the truth. Larsson has a higher GAR, xGAR and WAR then both. Hes got far better numbers in transition meaning hes a far better play driver. Hes way better on the PK then both and it isnt close. He plays tougher minutes then both. He has a higher corsi% and xG%. He has more even strength points. He would have more overall points if he got any powerplay time.

Maybe you should open your eyes and look around before you say every stat imaginable. Unless being on for more shots against and giving up more expected goals then they create is a good thing (it isnt at all lol), they arent even close to being better
