Why do Leaf fans think Clifford worthy of a contract? Didn't show much in the last month when he was playing for an NHL contract. Yea, he got in a couple of fights. Really is that why you sign him?

While Robertson looks like he might be an NHLer at some time, high scorer juniors. college players and even AHLer sometime never adjust to the NHL game. To think 18 year old Robertson in NHL ready now is really unwarranted wishful dreaming.

Besides Robertson and I would settle for an 800.000 Clifford, think the lineup proposed in pretty accurate. Leafs still need NHL centre depth so a player like Spezza is probably more needed.
Johnsson is probably a cap casualty. But really there are dozens of players like him that so many cap strapped teams want to jettison. No way he gets a 2nd rounder. Leafs (and the teams) will be giving those cap hits away virtually for free.
