Sure give up Jesse Puljujarvi for a player that might never play again due to migraine issues. Yeah sounds like Hollands kind of trade.

True but you still don't trade him for a players who's career is questionable.

Not like Patricks that possibly has career ending migraine issues, Yeah perhaps Puljujarvi doesn't have an NHL career but he can play in the AHL or KHL or Swiss league like he's doing now big difference there.

That doesn't have any value to NHL teams though.

Hold up, Nolan Patrik may never play again? I had him as the future 2C for a Couterier-Patrick 1-2 punch. I see him coming back around the age of 24-25 but having a short career to like 29

He's played in the NHL before. He didn't produce, was a defensive liability and his decision making was below average at best.

He still has a chance to be a decent middle 6 player but it's definitely not a guarantee. A success for Puljujarvi would be production at a level that Patrick Nolan had before his migraine problem.

He also refuses to play a 4th line role and seems like a difficult player to handle (refuses to play for Edmonton even-though they have a new coach and management...).

Both players are pretty risky. If I had to pick one I'd probably pick Nolan, if he can get over his migraines he has a much higher ceiling.

Yah he was playing with Lucic and Brodziak, even McDavid couldnt produce with Lucis, so leave that out of the equation
secondly maybe you should think about why he wont play in edmonton, I will give you a helping hand, it wasnt to do with management or coaching. It had to do with Drai. But you can come up with your own conspiracy theory if you like. Drai isnt leaving and Poolparty isnt coming.
Thirdly you say its no guarantee that he will become a middle 6 player, that is totally correct. but i that same sense it isn't a guarantee that he doesn't become a top line RW, which I personally do believe he still will become. He is only 22 and example Kaprizov is 22 as well and just coming to the league and I think Kaprizov is going to be a major force in the NHL.
But even if he becomes a 3rd line winger, that is still a pretty good life considering how many people are in the NHL, how hard it is to get/stay in the NHL. I would take him on my 3rd line anyday.

I'm not saying he's worth nothing but if Nolan Patrick can get healthy than he'll be a solid player. There has been no question about his ability to play just questions about him being able to stay healthy.

If you think he'll be a top line RW than you must be very high on him. That's okay but know that many people also think he's not even good enough to be a 4th liner. I believe his true value lies between the two. That said he definitely is not a proven player and carries a high level of risk (and that's what I meant when I said that his career in the NHL was questionable).

What happened between him and Draisaitl?

From what I heard is Draisaitl is a very serious player on and off the bench. As well as McDavid and they both want to win. Poolparty his knickname is for a reason, like to joke around and screw around. Drai didnt like that and was very hard on him so him and Poolparty dont get along at all. Drai needs to understand that a team or work environment take all kinds of people to succeed and not everyone is the same. Oilers in the 1980's had Tikkanen who was fun and screwed around a lot too. They Succeeded with him.
