This isn't a solution to anything for MTL. And I wouldn't want some of these pieces from TOR side.

As much as Id love to have Marner in a Habs uniform, there are too many pieces there for just one guy. Unless you tell me this is EA Sports and youve set the injuries to "OFF"

I think your offer is good for Toronto but bad for Montreal. Give less than that, Toronto probably refuses. Leafs want better defense and want to win now. You trade Marner, you have to fix the defense issue. Not more potential offensive superstars. So Id say the only deal Id make is like Marner+ Barrie (He's gonna ask too much, cant afford him) for Weber + Domi + Top Prospect + 1st Rounder. And then again Montreal probably says No.

Toronto wouldn't take Weber lol he is old and over paid and injury prone
