Forward lines are brutal. If Ducks move Fowler, it should be for at least a 1st/2nd line LW.
Ducks already had Fleischmann. Don't see them bringing him back.
Not sure why they would wave Stoner, just to get Russell and McQuaid.
Don't see Manson up there. If last year is any indication, he will be partnered with Lindholm on the top line.

I think duck fans need to have a reset on Fowler. He isn't that good and teams know ducks need to free up cap space. You might get a border line 2nd liner for him but remember you can't take get to much cap hit. You guys are a hard budget team looking to spend about 68.5 mil in cap space. Lindholm is costing you 5.6mil minimum and rakell could be over 4 mil if he doesn't sign a bridge deal. Ducks need to move Money out first and foremost.

I don't think you trade Fowler straight up for a 1st/2nd line LW, but you can even out with a 2nd or 3rd pick. No reason to just give him away. For McQuaid's money and the Stoner buyout, you might as well pay Fowler his $4M.

Makes no sense to buyout a player, then trade Fowler for low, future picks, a prospect and a lesser defensemen all while saving less than $0.25M.

I put that together. I don't think Leafs make that trade since JVR will be more valuable this year because wanting to shield some of the younger guys, but that is much closer to actual value and what is smart for the Ducks.

I'd gladly throw a couple decent prospects Anaheim's way for him. No real cap hits. What would you want Bones20?

For Fowler the ducks will be looking for a young forward on his ELC that might grow into a top 6 forward. A Dano type using Winnipeg player. I might package Fowler and rakell for someone like RNH/Eberle type if you can swing it.

SVEN ANDRIGHETTO has to be part of the deal. maybe MARK BARBERIO. Those would be my targets.
