I’d try to not move Georgiev. I don’t have faith the Huska will be ready to be a full time backup yet

We're gonna have to move him in this offseason unless management decides to rid of hank somehow. Huska could be backup ready after next season, if not Wall ould be ready too. Backups arent that hard to get in FA too

Hank is a goner, it sucks, but it has to be done. Huska isn’t yet nhl backup caliber.

I don’t think we want, nor need Dylan Strome. And I don’t think he’s signing for that cheap, either.

We dont need Dylan Strome, but it certainly helps our center depth. We have a surplus of LD prospects that we can send to CHI and we can even keep Georgiev and buyout Hank if thats the case. We dont have elite talent down the middle besides Zibanejad, and a Chytil-Strome 2-3 punch would be very nice. Getting Strome takes some pressure off Chytil in the case he doesnt preform to well we can drop him back. Or you can not go for Strome and move Copp to 3C and go with Lemieux-DiGiuseppe for 3 and 4. We also have Richards and Khodorenko who might be able to slot into the bottom 6 center position. What do you think?

I think your thoughts are correct, I just don’t think Chicago goes for that trade or Strome signs for that contract. I also don’t think Strome is anything special. I’d rather pour more assets into getting Cirelli, Nylander, Kapanen, etc.

If we unload Strome and buyout Hank we have plenty of cap space to pay Cirelli. I would rather trade for his rights than offer sheet, but I want him regardless. Frosts next every time I think about the McDonagh trade when we thought we might get Point or Sergachev and Tampa reportedly offered Cirelli but we insisted on those bums Howden and Hajek.

Getting Strome doesn't make sense if you're getting Copp...And trading Georgiev to get Strome makes less sense.
