Too many bad contracts acquired. Maybe they do one but not three trades. Team is already better. And Krug will not sign in DET.

Boychucks the only contract that doesn't expire next year. All the other ones do
I saw Detroit fans saying that Krug may want to come to Detroit cause he is from their and wants to come home

I know, they want him. Detroit is still second on his list and that's the important part.

Saying that Krug wont sign in Detroit is pretty naive on your part, If he's doesn't resign back in Boston and it's not a given he will. I can totally see Krug coming home to Detroit. Right now it's pretty much 50/50 of him resigning in Boston. Even Krug himself stated that he hasn't talked to Sweeney in ages about a new deal. And he even said that it's not a given that he'll be back after this season.

If DET was 1 piece away, Krug makes sense. But, they are multiple pieces away, so Stevie won't spend on Krug (and Krug said yesterday he wanted to stay in BOS, even named his dog Fenway).

I'd expect to see Pearson, Rasmussen, Smith, Svech, and Veleno compete for spots out of training camp (I expect Svech and Rasmussen stick, with Ras as the 3rd line C with Fabbri and Svech).

Also, I don't see them graduating Stutzel, but not graduating Seider. If DET drafts Stutzel, I bet he starts in Grand Rapids. If they get #2OA, I really expect them to draft Byfield, who is one of the youngest players in the draft.

Not too sure those vancouver or Colorado trades get very far. Demko is their guy for the future. The Rangers, to the fans demise, aren’t that interested in unloading Staal, either.
I also doubt Byfield slides past the 2nd spot, and Stutzle is a wing, I think.
