No chance that the Leafs are going to give away Nylander for draft picks. You are talking about an elite young forward in the NHL.

if it means getting pietrangelo it's worth it. you're adding pietrangelo and two 1st's and a 2nd while only losing nylander.

i'm not sure the ducks do it considering the price and how high the draft picks could be. i think they would want some sort of lottery protection on those picks. the ducks could be swapped out for another team.

I don’t think there are any free agents that want to come to Toronto. They don’t have a winning mentality. Their top players would rather get paid than win cups. I feel the only way for things to change would be if Mitch Marner publicly apologizes for what his camp did last summer & admit he got overpaid.

Nylander for Manson, Jones & Drysdale, I would do it.
