I like the Murray-for-Labanc idea, but I think Pittsburgh would need to throw in a pick.

Fair enough, was just a starting point.

Sharks will walk on the Murray labanc trade, not because of value but we desperately need offense and labanc is a core player for us.

Could add a prospect to the roy deal, like bjorkvist or maybe hallander without the 3rd rounder. As for Dadanov, I wouldn't want to pay him as much as Guentzel since he scores less goals and points and is 6 years older, especially with the salary cap not moving.

Nope. Kings won’t do that trade for a RHD 25yo D man. Kings need to keep their RHD they don’t have any.

Especially not for a 3rd round pick in ‘22. You can have LaDue for that trade if that.

Roy cost more, defense is expensive.
Dadonov you are paying for past performance not future expecations. He's 31. He's peeked. I'm really iffy on paying someone 31 5.5 for 3 years. I say that knowing damn well someone else will give him more term. Let them make that mistake. Don't get involved in it. Just walk away. There just aren't that many 33+ year old forwards who are playing well and this team needs youth around it's aging core, not more aging players.
I know people like labanc. But they guy has had 3 years. He hasn't even cracked 20 goals. Why are people acting like he's "offense".
He's looking like a role player mid 6 guy to me.
There was a study done. Said if a guy isn't a consistant goal scorer by 25, it's very low odds he ever will be. He's 24. he's not a consistant goal scorer. Tells me enough to know there is an over valuation here on him.
