Nice post Ultraman!

I really like the predictions BTW. Not everyone will hit those numbers. There's always a couple guys who regress but for the most part, very plausible.

Thanks! I'm only basing this on a level where every player (Except for a few) play a full 82 game season, which is almost guaranteed to not happen. Even if the record is highly unlikely, the stats for the goalies is very possible and I think is what we should expect.

You think Calgary is going to.have 115 pts this season? Calgary!?!?!?

That's 6 more than Dallas had last year and they won the west

SO losses are considered OTL. Differentiating them just shows how many games went to SO instead of finishing in OT. They would finish with 107 pts in this scenario.

I think Calgary is going to finish 49-24-9, and it's a bold prediction, but I see people underestimating them and Calgary having a 15-2-0 start, but then fall back to Earth. I also predict that this is going to be an unequal season in the sense that Dallas will finish first with 121 points, and then Minnesota 8th and last wildcard with 87 points again. Next year I predict Calgary won't make the playoffs.

1. Dallas Stars: 121 points
2. Anaheim Ducks: 109 points
3. Calgary Flames: 107 points
4. Chicago Blackhawks: 101 points
5. San Jose Sharks: 99 points
6. Nashville Predators: 98 points
7. St. Louis Blues: 87 points
8. Minnesota Wild: 87 points.
9. Los Angeles Kings: 86 points (Barely misses the playoffs, in fact I predict that this year will be an insane year for position 7-12 in the West).

1. Tampa Bay Lightning: 117 points
2. New York Islanders: 108 points
3. Pittsburgh Penguins: 104 points
4. Montreal Canadiens: 103 points
5. Florida Panthers: 101 points
6. Carolina Hurricanes: 98 points (Carolina is the East surprise, while Calgary is the West).
7. Washington Capitals: 97 points
8. Ottawa Senators: 91 points
