how can a cup contender team have Tyler ennis on the first line???

put neal back there, smith is done Don't sign him, koskinnen can't get you to the cup so sign somebody like lehner

This is basically the post-deadline 2019-20 team. Does that make it a Cup contender? Most people would say "no", but from December 31st on this team was one of the best in the league.

The Oilers played 30 games in that span, but Ennis and Athanasiou only participated in 9 of those. So while I'd like to see further improvements made this off-season, I don't think it's unreasonable to call this team a contender.
