I mean using the Skjei trade as a bench mark....you take away Hanifin's PP time (which like Skjei he won't have in NY), and he and Brady have identical point production over the last 2 seasons...
So I'm not sure if the difference between Skjei and Hanifin, at very similar contracts, both in their mid 20's, both putting up the same offensive production at even strength. is worth an entire late 1st (Strome value). Actually over the last 3 seasons, Skjei has better xGA figures so I'm not sure if there's even an argument to be made about Hanifin having a defensive edge there.
I'd probably say this is too much actually.
