If you disagree with a trade, at least add some context lol. Why is this a bad trade for Vegas?

Trades are fine… Maybe CBO lundqvist if there is a CBO... he won't be playing

that's $8.5M used for nothing

Well personally I think resigning Fast is a bad idea with all our RW depth (I'd rather play Gauthier over him)....

Frankly in the Rangers situation I wouldn't take him back for over 2.4 given our positional depth.
But objectively, 2.5-2.9 is "fair" Over 2.9 is baadddd. That's if he resigns with the Rangers...if he signs with another team. add 500k.

I didnt wanna use a CBO on this one so I just kept him. He could Retire but I didnt need the cap space on this one so no need.

I would say middle 6 C but either way you saw last year he is not ready for that role and Vegas is trying to win now. So bring in a guy that can produce as a high end 3C behind Karlsson and Stastney and then you still have Krebs to take over after Stastney is gone. And then took Holden off the books and threw in a 3rd rounder to top it off. Seemed logical but I understand if you disagree

Glass has the potential to be a top6 C, if not 1st liner (they would be okay to have Karlsson-Glass as 1-2).

Strome has had a really good season but not sure if he can reproduce those numbers. He could, assuming he plays with 67 and 61 but Glass has more potential. I see Strome as middle-six F. He's been playing for 6 years as regular and 4/6 seasons, under 40 pts. Correct defensively. Maybe I underestimate him but doubt.

His value is high right now so NYR should capitalize on that and get a good return but from VGK side, trading a guy like Glass (and for that return) I wouldn't do that.

Fair enough, like you said I think Rangers should sell high on Strome so if they could get someone like Glass I would. But Strome's Value is all over the board so I have no idea what he will be able to get in return!
