Why would the Rangers be happy about trading a guy who finally had a good season for a 1st swap?

Because you get a future elite center which we don’t have and won’t get from this draft and Chytil will be ready for the 2C as nit only will he naturally get better with age but he already played well with Kreider and Buchnevich this season

yea, this draft is super deep, guys like Rossi and Perfetti who would be top 5 are dropping to 7 and 8
