Well looking at last years UFA class where Lee got 7m and Hayes (Centre but I consider them pretty equal) >7m I think he can get at least 7m. Of course the shutdown will drive his value down, but would a team like Montreal or Detroit with room to spend really pass him up? My final guess in 7.25m

It’s possible he gets 7.25 but that’s rather high. Perhaps a team like habs could offer 7.25 mill sure, but a team like edmonton wouldn’t offer that much. Would he take a little less money to play with mcdavid? Entirely possible
