As a Jets fan I'd take that deal. but make it a 2021 with a condition on it bumping to a second in 2021 if Niku scores over 35 points or something. He's got a lot of Offensive Upside Potential

Absolutely and I would take that deal as well. As a Jets fan, I would want to see how he performs over 15 or so games at the beginning of next year and make a decision from there.
