I think a chance at something we shouldnt have could be a cool opportunity to try something new and make a cross at last season.

Before getting crazy because I took apart the only line that worked, let me explain.

I kept Danault on the first because he will clearly have a loooot of ice facing the best centers of the opposite teams. Pairing him with Armia gives a shutdown duo that can produce and it also gives Drouin the opportunity to have big minutes without focusing too much on defense. He will have to but he can cheat a little more knowing Danault and Armia have his back. I also went for a little french connection I admit.

The second line is more offense minded but I feel like pairing Domi and Gallagher together could work. Domi was at his best when playing with Shaw who could win battles in the corners and had a presence in front of the net while Domi was shooting and dangling. Suzuki would support them well to create plays. The defensive side of this lines is a little bit scary tho I admit again.

Bringing back KK even if I agreed when he was sentdown could be bad, but since we are not supposed to be here anyway, why not give the kid a chance to live some real meaningfull hockey. Pairing him with Tatar gives him a real playmaker/scorer for probably the first time in his career. Lehkonen would balance the line with defensive responsabilites. Byron could be swapped here.

For the 4th Line, I think Evans and Weal just deserve it more than any other players in the organisation right now but I dont mind swapping one for Weise if Julien is looking for a vet.

On defense, its basically what we know but I added Juulsen because of his skillset who can help more than Ouellet. It depends of his health and physical condition. He was nhl ready before everything happen with him. Alzner or Folin could be ready to replace any of Juulsen, Kulak or Mete if they arent solid enough.

Overall, I know Tatar Danault Gallagher is one hell of a line but some of our struggling players this year (Domi, KK, Drouin after injury) could really benefit playing with them and we didnt win anyway with these three together, why not try something else and see what could be good for next year!
