The only way this trade happens is if the sharks are terrible and Hertl is heading to FA so you rent him, even then not enough(think mark stone). Otherwise you will have to add much more

I dont really know. I think the prospect would have to be a little more exciting. Ferh will be 22 then and likely a mainstay on the caps bottom pair, so doubt they would trade him anyways.

Highly doubt Capitals trade him. He could easily turn out to be elite. He looked great in his short time in the NHL

Ovie will play until he's Jagr's age and passes Gretzky before he retires.

One more season for Jagr….back to Pens or Caps for a Cup win.

Or Jagr can play with the Leafs and retire after winning the Cup.....in 2067.

Clearly Stone is the better player, but if Hertl was to be traded as a rental, the trade would need to look like the stone trade, given he will be the best option on the market and is a first line player with a great skillset.
