Cap solution? Quite an assumption that Montreal would want (or certainly give up anything for 5m NTC Filippula. Although it doesn't affect the cap, would Calgary trade Brodie?

Yeah Brodie is untouchable as they get no way does Calgary do this deal.

Tampa is only cup champions if Bishop stays, If Vasy is the #1 Goaltender there no way is Tampa winning a cup.

Kris Russell is going to start an organization that considers the Lightning franchise as a God if he gets paid that much, and holy **** you think you'll come close to Brodie with that deal. Treliving would build himself a machine that allows him to erase Yzerman's existence from his mind and views if that happened. If you want Brodie, either Hedman (Flames do add in this case) has to go back the other way, or it has to be something along the lines of Stralman, Palat, Bishop (With contract extension), a good prospect, and a 1st rounder.

How about Giordano, Jankowski, and conditional 1st rounder for Stralman and Palat? Giordano can play RHD, and would instantly boost your win now mode.
