I know people will ask why would Lundqvist waive for Buffalo but in my opinion they seem to be the only suitor I can think of that can play him as a starter and absorb a majority of his contract rather than Lundqvist playing 3rd goalie with the Rangers.

Sabres keep Hutton. Get a 1st from NYR for saving them 5.5 mil. Then make the Hutton for Carter Rowney trade.

Why are the Rangers dumping Lundqvuist, who wouldn't waive for Buffalo, can't be sent to the minors and thinks he can play a few more seasons??? To get Carter Downy??
