Kessel made sure Arizona was the only place Pittsburgh could trade him, so why is he now suddenly going to change his mind? Has he already grown tired of Arizona's selection of golf courses and hot dogs?

Detroit should probably focus on adding players who fit their core rather than adding aging veterans.

Hall is't signing that cheaply, And Detroit says no weren't taking on older players and trading younger pieces that fit our rebuild timeline.

He gets the 8th year if he stays in ARI so figured it might be worth it...Detroit picked up Timashov on waivers and they're moving up 2 rounds in the draft plus getting a better prospect in Fischer (although he had a tough year)

The Kessel deal doesn't really have to happen it was just a change of scenery move...Detroit is only taking one year of Hjalmarsson and is getting a better player in Fischer
