- Based on how better off they could have been if they stayed
and what team I think of when the player is named (i.e. Kadri)
- this list was mainly inspired by PK Subban and Erik Karlsson
- not including dead contracts like Gaborik, Callahan, and Hossa

I remember when Hanzal got dealt to Minny and Shane Doan threw an absolute hissy fit because he somehow thought they were going to make the playoffs. Arizona got a total haul too.

I agree about the Spezza deal, but the Karlsson deal was great for Ottawa.
